## About the Role

* Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in UI development.
 * Strong proficiency with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and modern front-end development practices.
 * Experience developing and executing unit tests using Jest.
 * Experience creating automated UI test cases using Cypress.
 * Proficiency in implementing WCAG accessibility standards.
 * Experience with Talon web development and Reveille design.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
 * Prior experience working at USAA as a UI Developer is required.
 * Candidates must not have worked at USAA within the past 180 days.

Experience:

 * Eight or more years of hands-on UI development experience delivering enterprise-scale web applications.
 * Proven experience developing responsive, accessible, and maintainable React.js applications.
 * Experience working within Agile software development environments.
 * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex UI issues and deliver high-quality, testable code.

Education:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
 * Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js and related technologies.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable UI solutions.
 * Develop reusable components and front-end architecture that support long-term application growth.
 * Implement modern JavaScript and Node.js solutions to enhance application functionality and performance.
 * Create and maintain comprehensive unit tests using Jest and end-to-end test automation using Cypress.
 * Ensure applications comply with WCAG accessibility standards and deliver an inclusive user experience.
 * Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
 * Support UI enhancements and maintenance efforts while adhering to established development standards and best practices.
 * Work closely with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless, user-focused applications.
