This role serves as both a technical leader and the program manager driving OS delivery, acting as the primary technical liaison between HP, Android OS vendors, Google, and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Factory, Sales, and Support. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end Android release process, overseeing certifications and image delivery, coordinating factory and field deployments, and driving resolution of customer and support issues. The role requires Android, Linux, and software release expertise, strong program management skills, and the ability to influence product direction while ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple platforms and customer programs.
