 + **Healthcare & Billing Domain:** Foundational understanding of healthcare data standards or core RCM billing workflows, specifically **claims management** (e.g., EDI 837/835 transaction files, HIPAA compliance) and **invoicing systems** (e.g., patient statement generation, fee schedules, billing reconciliation).

 + **Automated Testing:** Familiarity with automated unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, NUnit, Jest).

 + **Tooling:** Basic exposure to modern DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, or messaging architectures.

Education

 + **Degree:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related STEM field _(or equivalent practical experience / completed accredited coding bootcamp)_ .

## Description

We are seeking an **Associate Software Engineer** to join our Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) & Billing Development Team. In this role, you will contribute directly to modernizing and building scalable healthcare billing platforms - encompassing both **claims processing** and **patient/provider invoicing** workflows - alongside clearinghouse integrations and automated payment systems.

Working under the guidance of senior developers and engineering leaders, you will apply foundational software engineering concepts to tactical coding tasks, write automated unit tests, support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and develop deep domain expertise in core billing functions (e.g., EDI 837 claim submissions, 835 payment posting, other EDI responses, and invoicing engines).

This entry-level position is ideal for an early-career developer who is eager to learn, enthusiastic about modern cloud technologies, and ready to grow technically while supporting critical healthcare financial operations.
