With the critical decisions made in the military every day, we need an open source collector like you to do just that. As an open source collector, you use your specialized language, regional, and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop collection reports to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders. As an open source collector on our team, you'll help your client understand their specific targets, or topics of interest. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources and develop effective collection methodologies to combine information from disparate sources. You'll validate information and develop tradecraft as you answer requests from targeters, warfighters, and senior policymakers for internal client publications and US IC-wide products. As the authority on your region, your client will look to you for time-critical responses, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like open source tradecraft, report writing, translation, tool benchmarking, policy recommendations, automation and scripting. You'll share your expertise with other collectors through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources to learn new skills and tools. Work with us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our warfighters, policymakers, and nation's leaders. ## Related Videos - [Kubernetes and Microservices with Multi-Model Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/382-kubernetes-and-microservices-with-multi-model-databases) - [How Web AI Can Power the Agentic Web - Jason Mayes (Google)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1896-how-web-ai-can-power-the-agentic-web-jason-mayes-google) - [Forecasting Cyber Attacks with Glassdoor Reviews - Lianne Potter](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2143-forecasting-cyber-attacks-with-glassdoor-reviews-lianne-potter) - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1146-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) - [RAG's Not Dead, You're Just Using It Wrong! - Phil Nash](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1906-rag-s-not-dead-you-re-just-using-it-wrong-phil-nash) - [Privacy-first in-browser Generative AI web apps: offline-ready, future-proof, standards-based](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1572-privacy-first-in-browser-generative-ai-web-apps-offline-ready-future-proof-standards-based) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 131 - AI'm not sure about OSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/472-dev-digest-131-ai-m-not-sure-about-oss) - [The Future of Open Source: A Deep Dive - Scott Chacon at WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/471-the-future-of-open-source-a-deep-dive-scott-chacon-at-wearedevelopers-world-congress-2024) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 138 - Are you secure about this?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/486-dev-digest-138-are-you-secure-about-this) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 119 - ❤️ === ❤️](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/454-dev-digest-119)
