Partner to build scalable teams * Drive delivery by managing priorities, technical debt, production support, and platform modernization * Coordinate release planning, OKRs, risk management, and operational readiness for product delivery * Partner with Product, UX, QA, Support, CloudOps, and stakeholders to align priorities and dependencies * Lead technical responses to production issues and incidents with effective coordination * Collaborate with senior engineers to define architectural direction, standards, and maintainability * Advance software quality via improved engineering practices, automation, observability, security, and modernization * Champion AI-assisted software development across planning, coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting with responsible AI practices Tasks * Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field or equivalent experience * 7+ years of software engineering experience with leadership across multiple teams * Proven experience coaching engineers

Experteer Overview As the SchoolTool Software Engineering Manager, you lead multiple engineering teams responsible for the ongoing evolution of the SchoolTool platform. You will shape technical strategy, drive delivery excellence, and partner with Product, UX, QA, Support, and CloudOps to deliver secure, scalable software for schools. You will coach engineers, manage performance, and advance AI-assisted development in a measurable way.
