## About the Role

* Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, electronics, or industrial maintenance preferred.
 * Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience.
 * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
 * Comfortable using hand tools, electrical test equipment, and computerized systems.
 * Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment is a plus.
 * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow highly structured procedures.

Education/Training/Certifications:

 * High school diploma or GED required
 * Associate or Bachelors degree preferred

## Description

The Semiconductor Technician supports semiconductor manufacturing operations by operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment in a cleanroom environment. This role works closely with engineers and production teams to maintain equipment reliability, product quality, and efficient manufacturing processes., * Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment.

 * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
 * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and equipment-related issues.
 * Monitor equipment performance, alarms, and process parameters to identify abnormalities.
 * Perform equipment adjustments, component replacements, calibrations, and basic repairs.
 * Follow detailed SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and cleanroom protocols.
 * Maintain proper cleanroom gowning and PPE requirements to prevent contamination.
 * Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, repairs, and production information accurately.
 * Use hand tools, test equipment, computers, and diagnostic systems during maintenance and troubleshooting.
 * Work with engineers and other technicians to identify root causes and resolve equipment issues.
 * Support equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and qualification activities.
 * Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure equipment and processes meet specifications.
 * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
 * Support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and production efficiency.
