## About the Role

* 3-5 years of experience in an application development environment.
 * Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database technologies.
 * Experience across the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support.
 * Familiarity with GitLab and SVN version control systems.
 * Working knowledge of Oracle Forms (preferred), Pro*C, shell scripting (basic), and tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD.
 * Introductory knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
 * Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Oracle Retail.
 * Exposure to Oracle Cloud Database or Oracle Retail Product Suite.

Work Environment

 * Hybrid work model based in the Columbus, OH area.
 * Collaborative, team-oriented Agile environment.

## Description

* Design, develop, and test complex database programs using PL/SQL.
 * Analyze, inspect, and document existing functionality within packages, functions, and procedures.
 * Ensure database programs meet current coding standards and best practices.
 * Perform SQL and application performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
 * Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production problems.
 * Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
