## About the Role

Successful candidates will have:

 * 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
 * Experience with enterprise wireless and VoIP environments.
 * Strong knowledge of routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
 * Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
 * Familiarity with Azure or AWS networking.
 * Experience with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or GitHub is a plus.
 * The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively across teams.

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) is required. Certifications such as CCNP, CWNA, Meraki, JNCIA/JNCIS, or ITIL are helpful but not required., * Bachelor's (Preferred)

## Description

* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and Metropolitan Optical Ethernet (MOE) infrastructure.
 * Support Cisco routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and firewall technologies.
 * Administer and optimize Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams Voice, and other voice services.
 * Troubleshoot complex network, wireless, and telephony issues across the district.
 * Help improve network performance, resiliency, and security.
 * Support Azure and AWS networking, including hybrid connectivity.
 * Work closely with Information Security on segmentation, access controls, and other security initiatives.
 * Mentor Network Administrators and serve as a technical resource for the team.
 * Contribute to modernization projects, automation efforts, and continuous improvement.
 * Document network standards, configurations, and operational procedures.
