## About the Role

* Opleiding: Je hebt een Bachelor of Master in een IT- of technische richting (bv. Toegepaste Informatica, Elektronica-ICT, Automatiseringstechniek).
 * Kennis: Je hebt een goede basiskennis van netwerken (TCP/IP), databases (SQL) en API-koppelingen (REST/SOAP).
 * Pluspunten: Ervaring met industriële automatisering (PLC), logistieke software of Linux is een sterke troef.
 * Talen: Je communiceert vlot in het Engels. Kennis van het Nederlands of andere Europese talen is een voordeel.
 * Flexibiliteit: Je vindt het fijn om af en toe te reizen binnen Europa (ongeveer 20% tot 30% van je tijd, projectafhankelijk).

## Description

Als Software Systems Integration Engineer ben jij de cruciale schakel tussen de interne softwareproducten (de robotbesturing) en de systemen van de eindklant. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de robots exact weten wat ze moeten doen zodra ze in een nieuw magazijn worden geplaatst.

Je bent betrokken vanaf de testfase op het hoofdkantoor tot en met de uiteindelijke oplevering (go-live) op locatie bij de klant.

* Koppelen van systemen: Je integreert de eigen softwarepakketten (WCS/WMS) met de IT-infrastructuur en databases van de klant.
 * Configureren en testen: Je configureert de softwareparameters en test de informatiestromen uitgebreid in een gesimuleerde testomgeving.
 * On-site integratie: Je reist naar de klantlocatie om de software live te koppelen aan de fysieke robots en shuttles.
 * Troubleshooting: Je analyseert complexe softwarematige problemen tijdens de opstartfase en lost deze (samen met het R&D-team) op.
 * Documentatie: Je schrijft heldere handleidingen en documentatie over de gemaakte integraties en configuraties.
