## About the Role

* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role.
 * Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
 * Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Data Workflows, and Lakehouse Architecture.
 * Extensive experience with data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and modern cloud-native architectures.
 * Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.
 * Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
 * Understanding of data governance, security, master data management, and data quality principles.
 * Experience leading technical discussions and influencing architecture decisions at enterprise level.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 * Professional proficiency in French and English is mandatory.

## Description

As a Senior Data Architect, you are responsible for designing and shaping modern enterprise data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You define data architecture strategies, establish best practices, and lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems, with a strong focus on Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
Your responsibilities include:

 * Designing and implementing enterprise-wide data architectures on Azure and Databricks.
 * Defining data platform roadmaps, architecture standards, and governance frameworks.
 * Leading the design of modern data lakehouse architectures using Databricks.
 * Collaborating with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI teams, and senior leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
 * Defining data modeling strategies for analytical and operational use cases.
 * Ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and governance across the data landscape.
 * Providing architectural guidance and technical leadership to delivery teams.
 * Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending improvements to the data platform ecosystem.
 * Documenting architecture decisions, technical standards, and best practices.
