## About the Role

* Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in development, informatica of business management met een data specialisatie of je hebt al heel wat troeven van hieronder in de hand, maar je ontbreekt nog iets dat je graag on-the-job wil bijleren

 * Je hebt kennis van:

o Data Visualisatie Tools, zoals Tableau en Power BI
o Programmeertalen zoals Python, SQL
o Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, dataflows, notebooks…), Microsoft Foundry
o Data Modellering en ETL-processen. Begrip van datawarehousing, dimensionale modellering en ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processen is een must

 * Je bent analytisch, oplossingsgericht en werkt nauwkeurig.

 * Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook goed in teamverband.

## Description

Als Data Engineer / BI analist bij Galloo speel je een cruciale rol in het beheren en optimaliseren van onze data architectuur.
Je zal instaan voor:

 * De migratie van ons bestaande datawarehouse naar de Fabric omgeving.

 * Het onderhoud en de verdere ontwikkeling van datamodellen in Fabric.

 * Het samenbrengen van datastromen uit de verschillende applicaties van ons landschap.

 * Ondersteuning bij het opstellen van rapporteringen en datagedreven inzichten voor verschillende afdelingen.

 * Ondersteuning bij de opmaak van het nieuwe Galloo rapporteringsportaal.
