Our deployment model requires running software inside customer cloud tenants, which means you will be managing infrastructure across multiple regulated environments simultaneously, each with its own compliance and data residency requirements. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will work closely with the engineering team to build the core infrastructure abstractions everyone relies on, set reliability standards, and make sure we can scale without breaking things., * Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure (primary) and AWS using Pulumi and Terraform * Build and manage container orchestration environments for our agentic AI services, data pipelines, and API backends * Architect and maintain our dual-deployment SaaS model, enabling secure, isolated deployments within customer cloud tenants * Implement and enforce security controls, data residency requirements, and audit trail infrastructure aligned with GxP and SOC 2 requirements * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that allow the engineering team to ship reliably and safely * Set up and own observability: monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across all environments * Contribute to incident response and lead post-incident learning * Build developer-friendly infrastructure abstractions that reduce friction and improve engineering velocity ## Related Videos - [Empowering Thousands of Developers: Our Journey to an Internal Developer Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1519-empowering-thousands-of-developers-our-journey-to-an-internal-developer-platform) - [Why segmenting your infrastructure into tiers makes your infrastructure design better](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1960-why-segmenting-your-infrastructure-into-tiers-makes-your-infrastructure-design-better) - [Blueprints for Success: Steering a Global Data & AI Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1577-blueprints-for-success-steering-a-global-data-ai-architecture) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Unleashing Potential Across Teams: The Power of Infrastructure as Code](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/930-unleashing-potential-across-teams-the-power-of-infrastructure-as-code) - [Backstage in Practice: Offloading Developer Operational Work Through Platform Self-Service](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1922-backstage-in-practice-offloading-developer-operational-work-through-platform-self-service) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers)
