## About the Role

Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer / SDET.

 - Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
 - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
 - Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:
 - Postman
 - SOAP testing tools
 - JMeter
 - Strong functional analysis and testing capabilities.
 - Experience with manual and exploratory testing.
 - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
 - Knowledge of Java.
 - Experience with:
 - Selenium
 - Playwright (Frontend Automation)
 - Karate (Backend/API Automation)
 - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Nice to Have:

 - Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Devin and Windsurf.
 - Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
 - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern quality engineering practices.
 - Performance testing optimization experience.

## Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation tools, Agile practices, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams., Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.

 - Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
 - Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
 - Create, execute, and monitor API tests using Postman and SOAP-based testing tools.
 - Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
 - Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
 - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
 - Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting activities.
 - Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
 - Maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports using JIRA and Confluence.
 - Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and automation coverage.
