We are looking forward to knowing you: * *Education:* Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. * *Experience:* At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience across the full Software Development Cycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Validation & Verification). * *Technical knowledge:* Strong proficiency in C++ language, QT/QML graphic libraries, and network protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, UDP/TCP) using network analyzers like Wireshark. * *Soft skills:* Strong capacity to understand complex system needs, a cooperative mindset, team spirit, and high motivation to learn and grow. * *Languages:* Advanced level in English. * *Valuable / Nice to have:* Knowledge of communication buses (A429, RS422, 1553, AFDX), installation/administration of SUSE Linux (or other distributions), and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe). * *Specific Requirement:* Due to the nature of our work with classified programs inside our department, only Spanish citizens will be considered. ## Description An opportunity for a *Mission Systems SW Engineer* has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The Mission System SW Department develops advanced onboard software designed to manage inputs and data from various sensors, weapons, avionics, and datalinks, providing an enriched tactical picture to pilots and operators on the aircraft. The selected candidate will join an experienced, highly motivated, and cooperative team where your experience and technical knowledge will be key to understanding diverse system needs.
