Highly Desirable Experience * Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). * Azure Data Factory, Synapse or related Azure data services. * Public sector, policing or regulated environment experience. * Existing SC or NPPV clearance. ## Description Data Careers is supporting a secure public sector organisation in the East Midlands in the search for an experienced Data Engineer / Cloud Architect. This is a key role within a growing data function focused on building modern cloud-based data capabilities. You'll play a central role in designing, developing and supporting the data platforms, pipelines and architectures that enable intelligence, operational insight, performance reporting and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will bring strong data engineering expertise alongside experience designing modern cloud data solutions using Microsoft technologies. Security & Eligibility Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must: * Be UK-based. * Have continuously resided in the UK for a minimum of five years. * Be eligible to obtain NPPV3 and SC clearance. * Existing police vetting, NPPV3 and/or SC clearance would be highly advantageous. Candidates who do not meet the residency requirement will not be able to progress through the vetting process. The Opportunity This is one of the organisation's priority hires and offers the opportunity to help shape a modern Microsoft Fabric data environment. Working closely with architects, analysts and business stakeholders, you will design and build scalable data solutions, supporting the ingestion, transformation and delivery of data from multiple source systems.
