## About the Role

Golang is mandatory for this contract. We are specifically looking for candidates with demonstrable commercial Golang development experience alongside:

 * Strong commercial C#/.NET
 * Strong MS SQL Server
 * Microservices architecture
 * Git/version control
 * Experience working with high-volume or data-intensive systems
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills

The wider environment also includes Kafka, Linux, web/cloud technologies and external data providers, so experience in these areas would be highly advantageous. WPF exposure would also be beneficial.

## Description

* Developing highly efficient, robust and maintainable applications and Back End services
 * Building and enhancing services using C#/.NET and Golang
 * Working extensively with SQL Server
 * Supporting and improving existing business-critical functionality
 * Working within a microservices architecture
 * Identifying technical improvements and contributing ideas for new solutions
 * Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Engineering and Testing throughout delivery, This would suit an experienced Back End/software engineer who is comfortable operating in complex, performance-focused environments and can contribute quickly across both Golang and the Microsoft stack.
