Een goede Cloud Architect beschikt over zowel technische als communicatieve vaardigheden. Zoals diepgaande kennis van cloudplatforms, begrip van netwerken, databases, virtualisatie en security. Bij soft skills kan je denken aan klantgericht denken, adviesvaardigheden en projectmatig werken.
Met welke opleiding word je Cloud Architect?
Er is niet één vaste route om Cloud Architect te worden, maar meestal gaat er een IT-opleiding aan vooraf op hbo- of wo-niveau, bijvoorbeeld in Informatica, Software Engineering of Netwerkbeheer. Daarna is het essentieel om praktijkervaring op te doen in functies als network engineer, systeembeheerder of cloud engineer.
