## About the Role

* Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Mechatronik, Informatik, Mathematik, Physik oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation
 * Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im System Engineering und/oder elektrischen bzw. funktionalen AIT, idealerweise im Luft- und Raumfahrtumfeld
 * Erfahrung mit optischen Subsystemen, insbesondere Detektor- und Laser-Subsystemen, sowie Kenntnisse relevanter Space- und Aircraft-Systeme
 * Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python sowie Erfahrung mit mindestens einer der folgenden Technologien: TCL, CCS5, ELISA oder OpenCenter
 * Erfahrung mit MATLAB/Simulink sowie idealerweise Kenntnisse in Bash, MySQL, Git und Netzwerkarchitekturen
 * Kenntnisse der ECSS-Standards sowie Erfahrung in der Fehleranalyse und Root-Cause-Analyse; Kenntnisse in Machine Learning / Deep Learning / KI sind von Vorteil
 * Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie Bereitschaft zu Dienstreisen und mehrmonatiger Schichtarbeit während Testkampagnen

## Description

* Definition, Planung und Durchführung von elektrischen und funktionalen Tests an optischen Subsystemen und Payloads im Rahmen von Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT)
 * Entwicklung und Pflege von Systemarchitekturen, Integration von Subsystemen und Komponenten sowie Management technischer Anforderungen
 * Erstellung von Testprozeduren, Durchführung von Tests und Analyse sowie Bewertung der Testergebnisse einschließlich Fehler- und Root-Cause-Analysen
 * Definition und Beschaffung von Test- und Hilfsequipment wie Test Harnesses, Break-out-Boxen und elektrischen Adaptern sowie Management der Testinfrastruktur
 * Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen und Spezifikationen sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit Projekt-, Entwicklungs- und Integrationsteams zur Entwicklung effizienter Test- und Integrationsstrategien
