Additional required experience:

 * Experience deploying and operating software on Linux, including service configuration, log analysis, basic networking, and automation.
 * Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication/authorization concepts, and secure coding practices.
 * Working knowledge of relational databases, including practical experience with indexes and query performance/tuning.
 * Ability to troubleshoot problems across application, operating system, and infrastructure layers.
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

 * Hands-on experience with AWS, including:
 + IAM
 + EC2
 + Application Load Balancer (ALB)
 + S3
 + RDS
 + CloudWatch
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure.
 * Experience supporting applications in production and working with cloud-based infrastructure.
 * Experience with CI/CD, automation, and modern software development practices.

## Description

* Design and implement features across the full technology stack, including APIs, user interfaces, and data layers, with limited supervision.
 * Develop clear technical approaches and implementation plans for assigned features.
 * Deploy and support applications in production environments.
 * Monitor applications, troubleshoot production incidents, and identify root causes.
 * Implement fixes and improvements that increase application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
 * Contribute to system architecture and technical direction, including scalability, security, and technology tradeoffs.
 * Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and estimate development efforts.
 * Deliver software iteratively within an Agile development environment.
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation as needed.
 * Work collaboratively with other engineers and technical teams to support mission requirements.
