## About the Role

* Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline and 20 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in related discipline and 15 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience
 * Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs or similar engineering environments
 * Experience supporting system development, integration, and/or sustainment activities
 * Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS or similar) and modeling tools (SysML or similar), * Current Top Secret clearance
 * Undergraduate and/or graduate engineering degree from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program.
 * Experience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)
 * Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 series

Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Technical Skills

 * Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and modeling tools (e.g., SysML)
 * Risk management and technical problem-solving
 * Configuration management and technical documentation

Interpersonal Skills

 * Ability to operate independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to support complex, mission-critical programs
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

## Description

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Systems Engineer supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate Munitions Division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Hill AFB, UT., Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 * Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
 * Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification
 * Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities
 * Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports
 * Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities
 * Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance
 * Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements
 * Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning
 * Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making
