## Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to support a U.S. Navy program in San Diego, CA. The team is seeking an administrator to maintain RHEL and Windows servers for a research, Development, Test, and Evaluation network. Details below, * Administer and support Windows 11 and RHEL systems in a secure enterprise environment.

 * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system availability.
 * Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate system administration tasks.
 * Review and provide technical recommendations for infrastructure design and engineering initiatives.
 * Harden Windows and Linux systems in compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVMs, CTOs, and security policies.
 * Perform vulnerability remediation, patch management, and compliance validation.
 * Support endpoint security through the implementation of security tools and best practices.
 * Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant configurations.
 * Maintain hardware and software inventories and asset tracking records.
 * Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
 * Manage equipment inventory, preparation, and shipment to remote personnel.
 * Support system upgrades, technology refreshes, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
