## About the Role

We need a person who is not a database maintenance guy but a data engineer with deep DB2 and good Snowflake experience.

Here is what we are looking for:

 * DB2 database expertise and DB2 development experience not a DB2 maintenance person (8+ years)
 * Ability to think through issues like a DBA
 * Deep experience in SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (6+ years)
 * Understanding, developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 to DB2 SQL (6+ years)
 * Identifying stored procedures that can be extracted and programmed in Scala or a similar programming language (4+ years)
 * Exposure and hands-on understanding of Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL tuning (2+ years)
 * Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4+ years)
