## About the Role

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

 * 5 years of experience with troubleshooting across Linux and networking.

Preferred qualifications:

 * Experience in data center operations.
 * Knowledge of cloud computing, including virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems, and content delivery networks.

## Description

* Perform complex day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure issues (Network, Storage, Servers,OS, Kubernetes, etc.).
 * Participate in Customer, Partner, and Internal team deployments which will require international travel. International travel may be a core requirement of this position, with up to 25% of your time spent traveling.
 * Own and personify the infrastructure operator (IO) persona experiences defined in (Google Distributed Cloud) GDC air-gapped product.
 * Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation to support escalations from client deployments as well as internal reference deployments
