## About the Role

* Minimum 10 years of professional software development and integration experience.
 * 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
 * Experience with Google Apigee API management.
 * Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
 * Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
 * Proven ownership of complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
 * Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
 * Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
 * Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
 * Preferred: Hospitality or travel industry knowledge.
 * Preferred: Experience with AI-powered development tools and platforms.
 * Preferred: MuleSoft or integration technology certifications.
 * Preferred: Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Preferred: Background in microservices architecture.

## Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join the integration platform team. This is a hands-on, technical role serving as the platform owner for a MuleSoft portfolio, driving technical delivery and modernization initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work with integration technologies and AI-powered tools in a remote environment., * Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.

 * Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
 * Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
 * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
 * Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
 * Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered development tools.
 * Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
 * Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
