## About the Role

* Analytical Thinking: Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
 * Query and Database Access Tools: Working knowledge of data management systems; ability to use, support and access facilities for searching, extracting and formatting data for further use.
 * Requirements Analysis: Working knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Considerations for Top Candidates:

 * Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
 * Working experience applying SQL and Python (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, etc.) programming to solve business challenges.
 * Working knowledge with cloud technologies (AWS, MWAA Airflow, S3, EC2, etc.)
 * Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git Actions, or equivalent)
 * Experience with data structure (JSON, XML, or equivalent)
 * Experience with automated testing (Regression tests)
 * In-depth technical and problem-solving skills and evidence of continuous learning in the analytics field
 * Working experience with version control / repositories such as GitHub
 * Experience operating in an Agile environment
 * Must demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
 * Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

 * Experience with Azure DevOps, AWS Cloud, Managed Warehouse for Apache Airflow (MWAA), Github, Snowflake/Snowpark pipelines, SQL, Python, AI/ML, Microsoft Office, Power App Tools, Power BI, and automation capabilities.
