## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or other related discipline is required (Master's degree a plus);
 * Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104 Administrator Associate, AZ-305 Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
 * 2+ years of professional experience designing, executing, and supporting Esri ArcGIS Enterprise;
 * Experience identifying and resolving complex technical issues;
 * Self-motivated learner who continually keeps up to date with new technology;
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
 * High caliber of self-motivation with the ability to work well within groups;
 * Ability to work efficiently and produce accurate and thorough work; and
 * Ability to work independently, remain flexible, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

## Description

Langan is seeking an Staff Azure Cloud Engineerto join its national Digital Solutions Team. This individual will play a crucial role in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Azure resources that support both current and future Enterprise GIS environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and fast-paced technology team that works on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across on-premises, Azure, and AWS cloud environments for both internal and customer projects., * Collaborate with Langan's geospatial, network and development teams to build and configure Azure resources to support ArcGIS Enterprise environments that serve both internal and external clients;

 * Apply concepts of computing, networking, security, and the cloud to system design;
 * Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing server environments;
 * Deploy and maintain hosted applications and databases;
 * Configure logging, monitoring, and appropriate alerting thresholds for infrastructure and services that support ArcGIS Enterprise environments and its dependencies;
 * Plan, develop, test, and document disaster recovery, redundancy, and backup activities for managed cloud infrastructure;
 * Develop and maintain scripts to automate resource provisioning, configuration, and administration;
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to deploy infrastructure and application changes;
 * Write comprehensive documentation on system implementations and changes;
 * Manage and apply updates to services and systems;
 * Manage identity and access for cloud resources, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access policies, and integration with on-premises Active Directory where required;
 * Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies, cloud & systems engineering; and
 * Respond to incidents by helping with recovery, mitigation, and root cause analysis.
