It would be great if you also had: * Experience with avionics/spacecraft flight software architectures and standards. * Familiarity with cross-compilation toolchains, BSPs, device drivers, and hardware bring-up. * Experience with CI/CD, automated test frameworks, and version control workflows (Git). * Knowledge of telemetry, command & control, and spacecraft bus subsystems. * Experience writing software requirements and participating in system-level trades. ## Description * Design, implement, and verify real-time embedded flight software for spacecraft buses, OMVs, and other space vehicles using C/C++ and Python. * Act as a technical lead on projects: drive architecture and design decisions, define software interfaces, and lead design reviews. * Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, helping grow team capability and best practices. * Develop and maintain software running on VxWorks and Linux targets; work across different toolchains and cross-compilation environments. * Build and maintain software simulators and automated test frameworks for system integration and regression testing. * Perform and document unit, integration, and system-level testing; support continuous integration and test automation efforts. * Troubleshoot and debug software in close integration with spacecraft hardware and system engineering teams. * Review and provide constructive feedback on software requirements, specifications, and code. * Collaborate with cross-disciplinary subject-matter experts (hardware, avionics, guidance/navigation/control, systems) in an Agile environment. * Move between programs as priorities require., Designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and debugs software solutions.
