This team is responsible for core sensor components in user space (C++, Swift). We build and maintain the MacOS sensor, creating and/or building a platform for products and features that empower customers with prevention, detection, and response capabilities., CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a "sensor": a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The sensor processes thousands of events per second to provide deep visibility into operations on the endpoint, and performs rich correlation and computation to identify malicious events and blocks malicious activity., This is an Engineer 3 - macOS Engineer role in the engineering team that delivers the sensor (lightweight agent) on macOS. Engineers in the team own design and development of core features on the platform. Features will cross-cut most core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. Many features are also built in a way that they will have shared components across Windows and Linux., * Design and develop software for deployment on macOS systems * Own features from design to delivery * Collaborate with multi-functional team in various physical locations * Troubleshoot issues with the product as reported from customers responsively * Other projects as assigned ## Related Videos - [The Developer Workstation Blind Spot: Why Your Security Stack Can't See What Matters Most](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100254-the-developer-workstation-blind-spot-why-your-security-stack-can-t-see-what-matters-most) - [Possibilities with Web Capabilities](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1575-possibilities-with-web-capabilities) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [Thinking Differently - How to Make Money from Cyber Attacks & Cheats](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/745-thinking-differently-how-to-make-money-from-cyber-attacks-cheats) - [WeAreDevelopers - Of Agents and Robots](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2155-wearedevelopers-of-agents-and-robots) - [ Project Fugu: Progressive Web Apps, Superpowered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/290-project-fugu-progressive-web-apps-superpowered) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [9 Ways to Make Money Hacking](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/333-9-ways-to-make-money-hacking) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs)
