## About the Role

u2022 BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. \n
\u2022 Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a w/CI Poly \n
\u2022 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) \n
\u2022 Ability to translate highly technical matter to non-technical audience \n
\u2022 Excellent communication skills \n
\u2022 Technical depth in network services and architecture (WAN/LAN/virtual private network (VPN)) \n
\u2022 Experience developing solutions and troubleshooting the following vendors and technologies: \n
o Cisco Switches and routers \n

 - S2S connections \n
 - DMVPNs \n
 - Advanced routing - BGP \n
o Palo Alto Firewalls \n
o AWS networked design and implementations. \n

 - Virtual Private Cloud (VPCs) \n
 - Route 53 \n
 - Amazon Firewall Services \n
\u2022 Ability to make decision and escalate when needed \n
\u2022 In-depth experience with security domains and industry best practices; business continuity and disaster recovery, emerging technology \n
\u2022 Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team environment with little to no supervision \n
\u2022 Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation \n

\nPreferred Qualifications: \n
\u2022 Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners \n
\u2022 Proficient in cloud hosted networks \n
