## About the Role

* 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
 * PL/SQL Development & Data Engineering Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
 * Strong, production level Oracle PLSQL and Actimize AIS knowledge.
 * Experience with relational and object databases
 * Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and strong understanding of Database internals
 * Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and version control
 * Working knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation
 * Familiarity with trade lifecycle (orders, executions, etc)
 * Exposure to Trade Surveillance, Market Misconduct, Global Markets Compliance
 * Exposure to Actimize AIS platform
 * Lead design discussions and document design details
 * Partner with data engineers, architects, compliance, and business stakeholders
 * Drive best practices for database development, code quality, and documentation
 * Contribute to strategic initiatives (e.g., platform modernization, surveillance re-write programs)
 * Comfortable working in fast paced, regulatory driven environments
 * Produces high-quality, well tested, and scalable code
