Network Performance Tuning; Network Design; Network Security Principles ? Structured Cabling Standards ? OSI network Model and TCP/IP ? Domain Services: MS Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Familiarity in the following a plus: * Routing Protocols: BGP/OSPF * Cisco UCM/UCX VOIP/SIP * Citrix (troubleshooting of published apps and desktops); Citrix Netscaler * Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2003 to 2016) * MS Office Products, MS Exchange, Lotus Notes * VMWare * PRISM, JDE, SAP ## Description This position is part of a team that contributes to network and security projects from conception through maintenance. The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting LAN/WAN communications including VOIP and telepresence, while improving reliability, scalability and security., * Administration of routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VOIP phone system, VOIP phones, smartphones, security updates and patches. * Continually improves the networks by monitoring and evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency. * Planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of all network equipment. * Defining network policies and procedures. * Participate in technical projects with both internal and vendor supplied resources.
