## About the Role

* Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Backend-Entwicklung mit Ruby on Rails sowie in der langfristigen Weiterentwicklung und dem Betrieb produktiver Anwendungen
 * Sehr gute Kenntnisse in PostgreSQL und Erfahrung mit relationaler Datenmodellierung sowie der Analyse und Optimierung von Queries und Indizes
 * Praxis in der Entwicklung und im Betrieb von REST- und/oder GraphQL-APIs
 * Sicherer Umgang mit automatisierten Tests, Code Reviews und CI/CD sowie ein hoher Anspruch an sauberen, wartbaren Code
 * Eine strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise sowie Freude daran, technische Verantwortung zu übernehmen und im Team zu arbeiten
 * Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

nice-to-have:

 * Praxis im Betrieb containerisierter Anwendungen auf Kubernetes
 * Erfahrung mit Python und Django, insbesondere bei der schrittweisen Konsolidierung bestehender Komponenten auf Ruby on Rails

## Description

In deiner Rolle als Backend Developer unterstützt du das 3-köpfige Team bei folgenden Aufgaben:

 * Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung kundengerichteter Energymanagement-Features im Backend
 * Aufbereitung und Synchronisation von User- und Profildaten für App-Funktionen wie Sprachumschaltung
 * Arbeit mit Datenbanken und verteilten Systemen sowie Weiterentwicklung historisch gewachsener Datenstrukturen
 * Entwicklung und Pflege von Rest- und GraphQL-APIs zur Aufbereitung von Daten für die Visualisierung
 * Weiterentwicklung von Funktionalitäten rund um regionale Energiegemeinschaften und deren Dateneinbindung
 * Entwicklung und Pflege von Ruby-on-Rails-Code inklusive automatisierter Tests für Kundenschnittstellen, Energie-Community-Funktionen und Profile
 * Umsetzung von Epics und Features in einem verteilten, remote arbeitenden Delivery-Team
 * Durchführung von Code Reviews und Systemtests sowie enge Abstimmung mit App-Entwicklung, Produktmanagement und weiteren technischen Stakeholdern
