## About the Role

· Language requirements: proficiency in English
· Overall Testing Experience: Minimum 10 years in software QA (manual and automation) or development
· Functional Testing: Proven experience in test case design, execution, and test planning
· Automation Testing: Minimum 3 years with Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO
· API Testing: Minimum 2 years using Postman or ApiDog
· Agile Delivery: Minimum 3 years working in Agile teams with Product Owner collaboration
· Education: Master's degree required in a relevant field
· Working experience: Minimum 18 months proven experience in railway sector

## Description

Test Strategy & Execution
· Define and implement the test approach for applications used by train managers, station personnel, and Securail, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with operational needs.
· Translate requirements into clear, actionable test cases and ensure effective execution across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
· Contribute actively to refining acceptance criteria and ensuring testability of user stories.
· Support the integration of automated testing into the overall test approach where relevant.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
· Take end-to-end ownership of testing activities within the application, ensuring timely execution, defect resolution, and release readiness.
· Manage and follow up on defects, ensuring clear prioritization and resolution with development teams.
· Continuously assess risks, identify gaps in test coverage, and propose improvements to enhance overall quality.
· Ensure testing reflects real operational scenarios and constraints.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
· Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and operational stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality objectives.
· Provide clear, structured, and constructive feedback on requirements, risks, and delivered features.
· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews) and ensure quality is represented in discussions.
Leadership & Team Contribution
· Act as lead tester on the application, driving quality practices within the team.
· Lead by example through strong ownership, accountability, and hands-on involvement.
· Support and coach other testers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
· Encourage open communication and ensure risks and issues are raised early.
Continuous Improvement
· Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and collaboration.
· Challenge existing practices constructively and propose pragmatic solutions.
· Contribute to building a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
