## About the Role

An Engineering degree level or equivalent within STEM learning paradigm

 - Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of data engineering, data analytics or process automation
 - Experience with Power BI (advanced dashboard creation, DAX, and data modeling), SQL, Python or R and Cloud Data rcosystems are a plus.
 - Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English). Other languages are a plus
 - A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
 - The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

## Description

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Data Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

 1. Data Exploitation & Engineering: Extract, clean, and harmonize cross-functional datasets from diverse business areas (Design, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Testing).
 2. Decision Support Systems: Design, build, and maintain data inference models and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across leadership teams.
 3. Process Automation: Identify inefficiencies and automate manual data workflows to improve operational speed and data reliability.
 4. AI Readiness: Structure, pipeline, and optimize existing data environments to prepare the organization for the seamless implementation of advanced AI and Machine Learning tools.
 5. Continuous Improvement: Monitor data quality and governance, ensuring accurate and secure data availability across departments.
 6. You will learn to act as the vital link between IT/IM infrastructure and core business units (Engineering, Finance, Operations), translating complex operational needs into scalable data solutions, making the ETL/ELT pipeline design and workflow orchestration, data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts, and about Version control systems (Git).
Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Data Engineer!
