## About the Role

5+ years of backend development experience.
2+ years of experience with a strongly typed language or TypeScript.
Strong experience with RDBMS (raw queries or via ORM).
Solid background in unit and integration testing.
Experience with message brokers (SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, etc.).
Bonus: Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, GCP or AWS, gRPC and protobufs.
Bonus: Strong grasp of SOLID principles.

 + Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps/platform teams to build meaningful features through our Agile SDLC/Kanban workflow.
 + Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
 + Define technical requirements and identify the best solutions to meet team goals.
 + Participate in engineering retrospectives focused on testing, architecture, automation, and coding standards.
 + Always think beyond the code - you'll focus on delivering value and improving the user experience for our customers.
