You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: * Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex real-time embedded software for navigation and timing solutions supporting military ground, airborne, and maritime applications. * Drive technical excellence across all phases of the software engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture definition, design, code development, integration, verification, and documentation. * Provide technical leadership to cross-functional software teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering discipline. * Serve as a senior technical authority for production test solution software, defining strategies and ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable test applications. Responsibilities include: + Translating hardware test requirements into modular, automated test software. + Developing and maintaining production-grade test sequences, drivers, and data management capabilities. + Leading verification/validation of test software and ensuring compliance with program, quality, and regulatory requirements. + Providing troubleshooting, sustainment, and continuous improvement support for production test stations. + Ensuring configuration control, versioning, and traceability of test software in alignment with production needs. * Guide teams in developing software that complies with customer expectations and certification standards, ensuring both functionality and regulatory compliance. * Participate and lead Agile ceremonies, promoting transparency, technical rigor, and predictable delivery. * Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and high-reliability field performance.
