## About the Role

* Hochschulausbildung oder eine abgeschlossene fachspezifische mindestens dreijährige Berufsausbildung und eine langjährige fachspezifische Berufserfahrung sowie eine fundierte Aufgabenspezifische Weiterbildung,
 * Hardware & OS: Fundierte Hardware Kenntnisse sowie Administration von Windows (Server) und Enterprise Linux (RedHat, SLES).
 * Virtualisierung & Container: Sicherer Umgang mit VMware und Containern
 * Netzwerk & Security: gutes Verständnis von Netzwerktechnik (TCP/IP, DDI, VLAN), Firewalls und Load Balancern (F5).
 * Storage & Backup: idealerweise Praxis mit NetApp (SAN, NAS, RAID) und Enterprise-Backup (Veeam).
 * Tools & Automation: Erfahrung im Einsatz von Scripting, Automatisierung (Ansible), Monitoring (Nagios) und Security-Tools ist gern gesehen.
 * Web, Data & Storage: Kenntnisse in Active Directory, NFS - idealerweise hast du auch Erfahrung mit Objektspeichern, Webservern und Datenbanken.

 * GIS-Kenntnisse: Vorteilhaft sind erste Erfahrungen mit Geoinformationssystemen (ArcGIS, Erdas, QGis).
 * Sprachen: Fließende Deutsch- und gute Fachenglischkenntnisse.
 * Mobilität: Hohe Flexibilität und Reisebereitschaft für die Standorte Potsdam und Friedrichshafen.

## Description

* Systemwartung & Monitoring: Installation, Pflege und proaktive Überwachung der Serverlandschaft (Windows/Linux) sowie schnelles Incident- und Problem-Management.
 * Virtualisierung & Containerisierung: Betreuung und Optimierung von virtuellen und containerisierten Umgebungen, Enterprise-Storage (NetApp) und Backup-Systemen.
 * Netzwerk & IT-Sicherheit: Administration von Netzwerken, Firewalls (Cisco, F5) und IT-Sicherheitslösungen (Hardening, IAM).
 * Services & Datenbanken: Bereitstellung und Pflege von Verzeichnis-, Datei-, Webserver- und Datenbankdiensten.
 * Automatisierung (IaC): Du treibst die Automatisierung von Routineaufgaben und Infrastrukturen (z. B. via Ansible, PowerShell, Bash) aktiv voran.
 * Projektarbeit & Compliance: Technische Mitarbeit bei Migrationen, System-Updates und Lifecycle-Management sowie Pflege der Dokumentation z.B. für Audits.
 * Support & GIS: Technischer Support und Einweisung der Anwender, insbesondere bei GIS-Software (Geoinformationssystemen).
 * Flexibilität & Bereitschaft: Turnusmäßige Teilnahme am Rufbereitschaftsdienst.
