* Proven experience of and ability to program using Progress 4GL tools and environment
 * Experience and a good understanding of Databases,
 * Excellent PC skills, understanding of PC networks and confidence with using Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft family products
 * Customer Service Skills

## Description

* Monitor incoming errors and ensure these are investigated and resolved within the agreed SLA
 * Design, create and implement new features to be used within the system
 * Pro-actively recommend/develop areas that provide improvements
 * Carry out thorough testing and desk checking to ensure a Right First Time result is achieved
 * Ensuring that service level agreements are not only met but exceeded where possible.
 * Work closely with all members of all the team to design test and implement new development and resolve any errors that may be encountered.
 * Support other members of the Development & Implementation team sharing knowledge and experience to improve performance.
 * Actively participate in open discussions when required
