## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience with Java development.
 * Strong commercial experience with Node.js development.
 * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
 * Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
 * Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
 * Knowledge of Git version control and modern development practices.
 * Experience with automated testing frameworks.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience working on public sector or government projects.
 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
 * Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code principles.

## Description

Working within agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying modern cloud-native applications whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices., * Develop and maintain applications using Java and Node.js.

 * Build scalable, secure, and resilient microservices.
 * Collaborate with architects, business analysts, testers, and DevOps engineers.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
 * Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
 * Ensure solutions meet security, accessibility, and performance standards.
