## About the Role

* Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
 * Experience with Kafka and MongoDB.
 * Basic understanding of Docker images and containers.
 * Unit testing and TDD.
 * Gherkin-style BDD testing; Cucumber preferred.
 * Experience with a CI/CD tool such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.

Desirable skills

 * AWS services, including SQS, S3, SNS and/or KMS.
 * GitLab CI/CD.
 * Cucumber.
 * Load-testing tools such as Gatling or k6.
 * Scrum and/or Kanban.
 * Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.

## Description

We are looking for experienced Software Developers to support the delivery of Java-based services for a Government client. You will work in an Agile environment, building, testing and deploying secure, scalable applications., * Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot services.

 * Build integrations using Kafka, MongoDB and AWS services where required.
 * Write automated unit and BDD tests.
 * Support CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments.
 * Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery team.
