You will lead the design and operation of secure, resilient, and highly available IBM MQ platforms, driving adoption of cloud - native, containerized, and automated architectures across hybrid environments. In this role, you will act as a technical leader and trusted partner to application teams, cloud platform engineers, and operations stakeholders-ensuring messaging services are scalable, observable, and aligned with critical business needs. Your Primary Responsibilities: * Lead the design, deployment, and operation of IBM MQ and App Connect Enterprise (ACE) across AWS cloud and OpenShift - based container platforms * Drive platform modernization through containerization, automation, and cloud - native patterns * Install, configure, and manage IBM MQ queue managers supporting high availability and disaster recovery architectures * Automate infrastructure provisioning and MQ platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef, and Ansible * Integrate MQ build, deployment, and configuration workflows into CI/CD pipelines * Monitor, tune, and optimize messaging performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and MeshIQ (APM6) * Troubleshoot complex messaging, connectivity, and performance issues across hybrid and cloud environments * Implement and manage IBM MQ security controls, including TLS/SSL, CHLAUTH, and LDAP integration * Partner closely with application, platform, and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable messaging solutions * Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks, and support knowledge transition to operations teams ## Related Videos - [Dev & Test in the Cloud?
