This is primarily an operations/ eyes-on-glass role, rather than a network architecture or hardware implementation position., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. * Hands-on experience in network operations/monitoring. * Experience using SecureCRT. * Experience with SolarWinds/Riverbed/Splunk. * Experience in Identifying triage, prioritize, and respond to network incidents and outages. * Eyes on glass - continuous monitoring monitoring dashboards in real time * Strong understanding of Cisco networking environments. * Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues. * Ability to monitor, prioritize, and respond to multiple events simultaneously. * Strong communication and vendor-management skills. * Ability to work independently and follow detailed SOPs and operational procedures. * Ability to adapt to new technologies and operational tools. * Understanding of automation, observability, and security principles. * Ability to participate effectively in an 24/7 operations environment., * CCNA certification. * Experience with Ansible and network automation. * Scripting/programming experience. * Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar 24/7 operations environment. * Experience managing incidents involving multiple vendors and geographically distributed network sites. * Experience with proactive incident mitigation and rapid-response troubleshooting. ## Description Our client is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join the Network Operations team supporting a large-scale, global network environment.
