Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (or higher) or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field. * Windows Server administration experience * PowerShell scripting experience * VMware vSphere or other hypervisor experience * BMC Control-M Workload Automation experience * OpenText Operations Bridge, Network Node Manager, Network Automation or SMAX experience * Modern data protection platforms (e.g., Rubrik, Cohesity) experience * Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). * Cisco routing, switching, or UCS experience The above description reflects the primary job function and may not include all detailed job functions performed in the role. ## Description As a Network Operator, you will work on the team responsible for 24/7 alarm response, incident analysis/troubleshooting/dispatch, enterprise job control, customer support, and general level 1 and level 2 I/S services across all Valero business units and locations. This position works on a shift schedule that may include nights and weekends and rotates quarterly. In addition to core monitoring and support duties, this role is designed to reduce operational toil across the enterprise by taking ownership of repeatable tasks traditionally handled by Level 2 and Level 3 teams. You will work closely with those teams to document, standardize, and automate operational procedures-helping to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
