**Published:** September 3, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.dice.com/job-detail/935b18bb-56a0-4abf-b666-ee58352a6d53 ## About the Role * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in AWS Cloud Platform engineering and administration. * 8+ years proven success overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications. * Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. * Extensive experience in automating cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and CDK. * Demonstrated expertise in scripting with Python and shell scripting in Linux environments. * Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS). * A minimum of one AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) required. * Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, service mesh, and CI/CD pipelines. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred. * Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide innovative solutions. ## Description * Define, design, and develop system requirements for cloud platform solutions on AWS. * Perform trade-off analysis of performance, lifecycle cost, risk, and producibility to optimize system architecture. * Assess hardware limitations, define system specifications, and evaluate input/output processes for hardware/software compatibility. * Coordinate the design of subsystems and the integration of the total system. * Implement and maintain AWS cloud services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and EKS. * Develop automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to provision infrastructure policies as code. * Support system troubleshooting, upgrades, and system tuning to ensure high availability and performance. * Mentor junior and senior team members to foster technical growth and knowledge transfer. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions. * Engage in system security practices including implementing AWS security guardrails and best practices. ## Related Videos -
