## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
 * Good understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems.
 * Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
 * Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
 * Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and access controls.
 * Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
 * Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

 * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
 * Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
 * Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Python, or Shell.
 * Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
 * Understanding of security best practices and endpoint management.

## Description

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to manage, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and systems. The role will support day-to-day IT operations and ensure systems are secure, reliable, and available., * Install, configure, maintain, and support servers, systems, and IT infrastructure.

 * Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
 * Manage user accounts, permissions, access, and system configurations.
 * Perform system updates, patches, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
 * Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
 * Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
 * Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
 * Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
 * Assist with IT security, access controls, and compliance requirements.
 * Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and technology implementations.
 * Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and automation.
