This role acts as the primary technical expert bridging IT and administrative workflows-ensuring data integrity, seamless third-party integrations, compliance reporting, and user support across administration, enrollment, grading, and student records., System Administration, Configuration & Customization * Serve as the primary administrator and technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Student Information System (SIS). * Oversee system updates, patches, bug fixes, module implementations, and scheduled maintenance windows. * Configure user roles, security profiles, permissions, and field-level access control to ensure strict data privacy. * Monitor system uptime, performance, and database health to ensure operational availability. Data Governance & Reporting * Maintain high data accuracy across student records, transcripts, schedules, attendance, and demographics. * Design, build, and maintain standard and custom SQL/BI reports * Support state, federal reporting processes and requirements (e.g. MARSS & Ed-Fi), ensuring compliance and timely submissions. Integrations & Technical Support * Manage data pipelines and integrations (API, SFT, LTI) between the SIS and third-party platforms (e.g. Schoology). * Provide tier 2/3 technical support to schoolteachers, administrative staff, & district office staff * Troubleshoot complex technical issues, document root causes, and liaise with software vendors for escalation.
