Your work ensures that when engineers across Apple instrument new features and services, the data flowing back from devices is correct, well-structured, and regression-free. You'll validate telemetry from some of Apple's most ambitious software, including on device AI models and Siri intelligence, working directly with development teams to define quality expectations before data ever reaches production. Through dashboards, automated reporting, and close cross-functional collaboration, you'll give teams across the organization a clear, real-time picture of system health at every point in the release cycle. This role is for someone who takes data seriously, builds with scale in mind, and wants their work to underpin the quality signal for one of the world's most complex software ecosystems., Design and implement automated tests that verify system telemetry data is logging correctly, completely, and without regression across Apple's full device and platform portfolio Review and qualify telemetry contributions from development teams, validating table structure, data completeness, null handling, and correctness before changes land in production Validate telemetry from on-device AI features, including large language model inference and Siri intelligence workflows, ensuring the data produced meets Apple's quality bar Build and maintain automation infrastructure that runs telemetry validation at scale across multiple platforms simultaneously Develop dashboards and reporting pipelines that surface telemetry health signals to engineering and program stakeholders in real time Triage and investigate telemetry regressions, coordinating with development teams to drive issues to resolution quickly Improve the tooling that automates the path from developer telemetry submission to validated, integrated test coverage Identify gaps in coverage across new devices, platforms, and features, and build the automation to close them ## Related Videos - [Lessons from Steve Jobs - Learnings from the Past for the Future](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1021-lessons-from-steve-jobs-learnings-from-the-past-for-the-future) - [WeAreDevelopers LIVE - Node and Package Security](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2138-wearedevelopers-live-node-and-package-security) - [Harnessing Apple Intelligence: Live Coding with Swift for iOS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1515-harnessing-apple-intelligence-live-coding-with-swift-for-ios) - [The Time Paradox: Building Timezone-Safe Python/Django Applications](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1915-the-time-paradox-building-timezone-safe-python-django-applications) - [Xcode development redefAIned](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100195-xcode-development-redefained) - [Coffee with Developers - Robby Russell](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/917-coffee-with-developers-robby-russell) ## Related Articles - [The 8 Best Code Testing Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/402-the-8-best-code-testing-tools) - [Dev Digest 150 - The shift to AI generated code, fingerprinting and OKRs vs. doing your job](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/533-dev-digest-150-the-shift-to-ai-generated-code-fingerprinting-and-okrs-vs-doing-your-job) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [What is Software Engineering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/289-what-is-software-engineering) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline)
