Military electrical experience is highly valued and directly translates to these opportunities., Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. ## Description * Install and route electrical cables for lighting, communications, power distribution, control systems, electronics, and specialized shipboard equipment * Fabricate and install wireways, cable hangers, penetrations, and bulkhead stuffing tubes * Install terminal boxes, switches, controllers, electrical cabinets, panels, and wiring harnesses * Cut in, terminate, and hook up electrical cables to shipboard systems and equipment * Assist with installation and hookup of ship lighting systems and power distribution equipment * Install, build, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems * Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and work packages * Perform work in shipboard, industrial, and confined-space environments while following strict safety and security procedures, Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, for all positions located in the city and county of San Francisco, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
