Strong experience with Java/J2EE and Java 8 or higher. Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data. Experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs. Experience with unit testing frameworks and software development best practices. Experience with Gradle, Git, JSON, and related development tools. Experience working with application/web servers and web services. Working knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting. Experience working within Agile software development methodologies. Understanding of software release procedures, coding standards, design documentation, configuration management, and change management processes. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Front-end development experience with React or Angular is a plus. Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus. Experience supporting large-scale federal government applications is desirable.
