## About the Role

We are seeking a Python Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, distributed systems, RESTful microservices, and databases and a proven ability to deliver scalable, resilient applications through the full SDLC in Agile environments., * Strong expertise in Python for backend development and web services.

 * Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
 * Experience with ORM libraries such as SQLAlchemy.
 * Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
 * Proven ability to build distributed, scalable services and robust microservices.
 * Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services in Python.
 * Familiarity with analytic reporting tools such as Tableau.
 * Strong analytical and communication skills for technical and functional analysis.
 * Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into deliverables, including rapid prototypes.
 * Commitment to best practices with ongoing refactoring and code quality.

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience with regulatory projects and liquidity reporting (e.g., Fed5g, LCR, NSFR, CRD IV).
 * Experience with containers.
 * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
 * Background working on high-volume, resilient applications.
 * Experience in Agile teams and SDLC best practices.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot Python-based services and APIs.
 * Build distributed, scalable microservices and REST interfaces.
 * Partner with business users to refine complex requirements and deliver prototypes.
 * Refactor and optimize code for readability, performance, and maintainability.
